The fixed locus of a symplectic involution on a hyperkahler 4-fold of Kummer type
Katrina Honigs (Simon Fraser University)
Abstract: In this talk I will discuss work in progress joint with Sarah Frei on symplectic involutions of hyperkahler manifolds of Kummer type. The fixed loci of these involutions correspond to cohomology classes and have very interesting properties. The talk will focus on the geometry of such a fixed locus on a particular 4-fold.
